Just wanted to quickly mention this great workshop I did last week for a primary school in the East Midlands. It was a little rural school with about 150 kids and I was booked to work with the whole school throughout the day. The weather was a little sketchy so I had to be quite flexible with the space that I used but the kids were so great; they just went with whatever was thrown at them. They focussed so well and tried so hard that it just filled me with admiration for them and makes this job the best in th world when the elements are right.
Another great element is the legacy that a day of Circus Skills can do for the kids. At the end of the day there were so many of them that wanted to get some equipment so that they could do it at home that you can really see the value of it to help a) pull kids away from their screens b) get into something that helps them exercise, and c) gives them a sense of achievement that is fundamentally really good fun to do. All in all a WIN-WIN situation.
